2008 Regional Holocaust Event

Northern Ireland held its Holocaust Memorial Day event in the Great Hall in Parliament Buildings, Stormont Estate, Belfast on Thursday 24th January.

Mr William Hay MLA, Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, gives the Welcome Address.

Junior Minister Gerry Kelly MLA gives the Address.

Inge Radford lights a candle in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.

The Very Reverend Dr Houston McKelvey, Dean of Belfast Cathedral, gives the Closing Address.

Harvey Rosenberg, Belfast Jewish Community, blowing the Shofar to bring the commemoration to a close.
